I had purchased a wooden back scratcher 10-15 years ago at the beach that cost around $3.00 and it was great until our dog chewed the end off. This item is very rounded off, so it does NOT scratch your back, and the telescoping arm twist on you when you attempt to use it. A complete waste of money, GREAT JOB AMAZON. This is the first and last time I use Amazon.

This product is not sturdy enough to extend and apply any pressure. Broke withing first couple of uses.

so I did and she refunded my $. It was teensy and spun in circles when i tried to use it on my back.

I ordered several of these so that both hubby and I can carry one in each of our trucks plus in the home. It has a clip so we can attach to a pocket or truck visor. I thought it was a just a smidge too smooth for a good scratch, but the hubby is very happy with his. The convenience of the telescoping is fabulous. It compacts to the size of a pen. Wonderful!

I love the portability factor, but the fingers are too dull to scratch my itch, and the telescoping handle collapses when I try to scratch harder.
